SSD SOCCER IS BASED ON 2 PRINCIPLES

1. Our love for soccer &
2. Our responsibility to contribute to the comprehensive development of our kids

Kids from the age of 3 can enjoy our easy way of learning the necessary skills of soccer. SSD prides itself in teaching a healthy and safe way to enjoy sports. SSD understands that loving the game of soccer means enjoying the time spent with friends and family by playing and being healthy.

Enjoying every moment they set foot on a soccer field and doing so safely, respectfully and with the most amount of fun possible

It all starts here!!

We use soccer as a tool to contribute to the child’s comprehensive development and to help them achieve their goals.

Children learn through fun, enjoyable, structured, age-based activities. The main focus is always to teach children to love sport, and in particular soccer.

Our objective is to develop the love for soccer in all communities, races and cultures throughout South Africa. We strive to develop motor skills, life skills and correct techniques which form the base for all sports men and woman. Our primary goal is the comprehensive development of the learner within the sport milieu. We encourage camaraderie, teamwork and team spirit amongst our players as this is one of the most influential and significant assets of any team sport and in particular, soccer.

Our Curriculum and Programs

The SSD curriculum has been created and developed by highly qualified, experienced and accredited South African soccer coaches along with leading foundation phase and early childhood development experts. SSD curriculums are age specific according to the cognitive, emotional, social, technical and motor development milestones of each age group. Player assessment and progress reports are done throughout each phase to track the progress and development of each child.

In each SSD program, the child’s developmental, emotional and physical needs are completely met, and has as its primary objective, to teach soccer and movement properly, in a fun, joyful and interactive manner.
